Help - MAF Honey Comb Finished... What now?
I previously had a 35r with a flash and just swapped in a 37r. Needless to say, the stock MAF honeycomb did not like this very much and was sucked out.
I want to stay flashed so I need a new MAF sensor. I was told to purchase a GM sensor. I did, but it turned out to be a 3.5" not a 3". Can I use the 3.5'? If not, what model vehicle does the 3" come stock on?
What else do I need to complete the MAF conversion.
Please help!
Thank In Advance

Alright, the difference from the 3" to the 3.5" GM MAF is that the 3" is the older style that was used on a huge number of cars from 90-00. This has a 3-prong connector which most translators use. Now if you get the 3.5" GM MAF I believe it has a 5-prong conntector and a different sensor to measure airflow.
Malibujack is using a 3" MAF modified with 3.5" ends. I am using just the regular 3".

Ahh I see... Now I understand. I going to return the 3.5" tomorrow and get a 3".
Thanks!
