k i got a hks intake and ground kit for xmas
well i got hks's racing suction intake and the circle earth grounding system..... im having some trouble around 5300 rpm i checked for turbo leaks etc everything is lookin good but i dont have the bov recirculating and it is the stock bov because im still making the flange to mount the ssq bov. i dont know if im having a air/fuel problem leaky bov or what but at that rpm in any gear it seems like the car is losing boost, or trying to intake and blow off at the same time and it starts jerking the **** out of the car. and it only happens at constant rpm like traffic otherwise as long as your accelerating the car responds awesome any ideas? my guess was air fuel mix is off now..??

you said the problem... you dont have the BOV recircing and you have the stock BOV... it is made to recirc, not VTA. You probably dont have a tune for that intake either. I can see your car not being particularly happy right now

The stock BOV is not a BOV in any sense of the word. A blow off valve is what the SSQ is. The stock valve is technically either a diverter valve or bypass valve and is designed to "leak" at low (vaccum and low boost) load. Running the stock DV open to the atmosphere is indeed a boost leak.
I tested the HKS SSQV both recirculated and VTA and noticed zero drivability issues. No stalling, no sudden bucking, only a slight tendency to go rich ( I even logged it to be sure). I have it recirc'd right now because that is the optimum design strategy for any turbocharged car. Hook the DV back up and watch your problems go away.
