Can immobilizer be removed?

I bought a stock ecu for my '03, & had it flashed. My dumbass was unaware about the immobilizer code, & of course car didnt turn on. Is there a way of eliminating immobilizer, or fooling ecu to work? Dealership is far away, & they say it'll take half a day to sync it, &whatever they need to do. I tried searching btw, ill try again. Thanks guys

Don't expect to get too much help on this since that will basically make how to defeat the immobilizer public knowledge making it even easier for thieves to steal our cars.

hmmm I believe you can ground out the immobilizer wire, you will have to trace it down but all you have to do is ground it to the frame..

you can edit the immobilizer code in ecuflash but you have to have the tactrix cable in order to do that

Yes, why don't you find the person who flashed it, and figure out what your stock ROM read... you did make a backup copy of it didn't you................................?

I think the OP meant he purchased another stock ECU to flash.

All you have to have is a MUTIII scan tool and both ECMs and ALL the keys thats going to be used. It would take abotu 1-2 hrs. I have no expeirence with ECUFLASH but alot with OEM scantools.
