Help with evoscan...invalid serial?

Help with evoscan...invalid serial?
Alright so i tried opening evoscan and it asked for my email so i entered it and then it asked for the serial number...i didnt know it so i closed it and tried lookin around and now everytime i try opening evoscan it just goes straight to a screen that says "invalid serial" and my only option to press is "OK". How do i get the serial number and how would i even enter it if it just keeps bringing me straight to the "invalid serial" screen. i even tried un-installing it and installed it but still goes straight there. Im new with this so any help would be good. Thanks

am i supposed to get an email with the serial number...i never got anything yet and even if i were to get it, i cant enter it because it brings me straight to the "invalid serial" screen. I've uninstalled it and installed it and still the same problem...anyone know what to do????

Alright but now even if he sends me the email i would have no way of putting it in because right when i go to open evoscan a box pops of that says "invalid serial" and i can only press "OK" and nothing opens. It doesn't even give me a chance to type in a number or anything...i cant even try to enter a number lol and i even un-installed it and installed it and still straight to the box.

Email evo4mad and get your serial number. I had the same problem.
Once I got my serial number
I had to open Run.
I then had to enter regedit
Press ok and it should open up registry editor
Open up evoscan
you should see four things: default
appname
emailadress
serial
Im asuming the one that says serial has nothing in the data column . Click on serial and type in your serial number.
Then try open evoscan as normal.
Worked for me.
Once I got my serial number

He emailed me back saying that it was a bug that he has fixed in the next release but never sent me the serial number. Right now i have 1.0 so im just waiting on him to email me back and see what im supposed to do.
i just tried what you said k.g.d and it seems like it would work. thanks
