AFR in the low 12's
I just had a email tune from a highly recommended tuner and my first pull in 2nd and 3rd gear, I was running in the low 12's or high 11's. I was wondering if this is safe and normal. I was told not to run anything higher that 11.5 on pump gas. Any info would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks

My mods are injen intake and ic piping, Megan racing exhaust manifold(crap I know, live and learn), buschur racing 3 inch TBE w/test pipe, walbro 255lp fuel pump, buschur mbc set to 1.5bar, roughly 22psi, perrin fmic, NGK BPR7ES spark plugs, 10.5 hot side and buschur racing evolution stainless steel fabricated O2 housing. The idc is low because of the fuel pump and alititude, 4800 feet, I think. This has more values. Thanks for your help and info.

I did ask him and he said "The AFR's you described are normal." I just wanted to get other people's opinions about this. I have heard not to run over 11.5 and when I hit 12's, I backed off and put an old flash running high 10's back on. Thanks for buzzing in.

Because i didn't push the gas a hair more to get it to 100 tps I guess. I saw 12's in second before this pull so I was concerned with looking at the afr and knock sensor than full throttle. But I do have one at 100% tps with the same afr I will post

That is what I thought. It is an eflash, so I know it is difficult to tune. I sent an email with this concern and he said that it was normal. So the first thing I did was a adjust the fuel according to what was there from a mail in flash running rich and this email flash running lean. I got it to around low 11's and high 10's and left it. The two tuners timing maps are completely different so I didn't touch them. I just found it odd that he said 12's was normal in any gear.
