evoscan logging in a 99 eclipse gst
I was wondering if the knock count/sensitivity for a 2g 99 eclipse gst is the same as for an evo? Because evoscan says I am getting 2 counts of knock from 4500-5200 rpm's. What I am asking is if it is comparable to an evo’s knock tolerance, they say that on a 1g that has up to 3 counts of knock it is tolerable, what count of knock is tolerable in an evo. I am just wondering if it is the same using evoscan on a 2g? I really appreciate the help. Thanks

I have logged a 97 GST. I would get a consistant knock sun of 1 across the board during WOT runs. it never went up and never went down. I think the request for a 2gen knock some might be wrong.
What setting did you use?? Is the knock just a bump? If so, it seems to be working properly on your end.
I think everyone believes 1-3 random counts are ok, on a evo and dsm. IIRC, on a dsm, every 3 knock counts pulls one degree of timing.

I've been trying to log my 95 Talon (non-turbo) with evoscan since it says it can do ALL mitsu's but its technically a chrysler ECU and engine. I wanna log knock since I turbo'd it but i cant seem to get evoscan to connect. I assume mitsu/chrysler had to make all of the 2G's compatible with the MUT scanner so I should be able to log SOMETHING at least. Did yours connect fine just by clicking the "1st gen/2nd gen" checkbox?
