LM-1 evoscan Q

I have an LM-1 and evoscan and I am unable to get evoscan to see the wideband. It is hooked through a serial to usb converter since my laptop has no serial port. I am no computer tech so a step by step would be helpful. I have had it all in the car and hooked up but evoscan does not record any data for the wideband.
Thanks, Glen

you need to set the com port for the wideband. Go into your device manager while the LM1 is plugged in and it will tell you the com port. After find out the com port go under the wideband heading in evoscan and set the lm1 to the correct com port

Thanks, I actually ended figuring that out. Had to go to com port 7. All is working nicely.

Lm-1's and Lc-1's have "In" and "out" jacks that the serial cable plugs into (it's an rs232 serial to headphone style jack). You can either plug it into the "In" jack to upgrade the firmware, or plug it into the "out" jack to datalog.
