Premier Evo Tuner?

Who is considered the premier evo tuner right now? On Evo VIII, Evo IX? Who will you entrust with your Evo X? For just ECU/Exhaust? For the Full Monty with turbo upgrade going for major power...?

Thanks!

Al from DYno Flash (located in stamford, CT)... He works at a shop ICS PERFORMANCE... icsperformance.com .. Hes tuned tons of my buddys cars. Nothing but success. Hes a safe tuner as well... Hell crank the performance up to a safe level... Youll love the shop as well... Thats my 2 cents...

Hes all over the forums as well.. Hes a vendor

Your gonna get alot of fan responses with that question. I would call around and talk to some tuners / shops and then make my decision that way. There are a multitude of competent tuners on this board. Find one that you feel comfortable working with.

Jestr Tuning
Mellon Tuning
AMS - NO EFLASH
Buschur - NO EFLASH

are the ONLY competant Tuners on here that exist with NO EGO's or personal pedastals they think they stand on that makes them better than everyone else.

Don't forget SEAN IVEY. (IVEYTUNE). If you don't have anyone local your best bet is to read some threads about reviews on mail-in flashes and choose who you think is best.

Also on this list should be:
razorlab @ GST Motorsports (Bay Area)
Lucas English @ English Racing (Portland Area)
JohnBradley (Portland Area)

I like razorlab and JohnBradley because they both keep track of and use all the latest innovations in tuning the stock ECU.

Also, add to the list: anyone competent in ECUflash, who will likely only charge you for a big toe, rather than an arm and a leg

I see you are located in CA. You can contact Tuning Technologies in Colton or Road Race Engineering in Santa Fe Springs.

stick to a shop then a stealership, if I remember they have plenty out there in the bay. GST, EIP, Speed Element might be a few others but I know these 3 are on the NorCalEvo.net boards and was going to get tuned from them but I never came back home to the Bay when I got back from Iraq.

Also to the OP the guys already listed are shops/guys/etc.. that know there stuff, depends on who you are comfortable with and situation ie distance, price, service etc.. just call around or email make some chit chat with different tuners that work into your situation.
