here's my prob. took my car to get dynoed/tuned using a tactrix cable/ecu-flash. they were able to change everything else in the ecu but when any changes were made to the timing/fuel tables the ecu wouldnt take. you can put the values in the desired areas but after the pull the car was doung what it wanted to. none of the values would take. we even put in some dramatic #s just to see,but still, it didnt take to any of them.the owner even installed his own 03' evo 8 ecu(same year as mine) and the exact same problem. to make matters worse, on the drive home the car would only gobout 15 miles and then would just die. he cameout and re-flashed me. another 15 or so and it dies again. reset the ecu by disc. the batt for about 15 mins or so, made it another 15 and yet again the same result. was thinking maybe a piggyback was installed somewhere but we couldnt find anything. maybe an ems would resolve this? someone please give me some way of getting threw this. thanx

it would help if you listed your mod or who ever tune your evo doesn't know WTF he's doing.
