BTW i would check to see where they placed the 02 sensor..that would be my biggest concern

yes, I will check sensor placement...right now I gotta get a Serial to USB adapter...argh.

Just an update, I called the shop and they located the In & Out connections for the LC1 under the steering column tie strapped to the metal frame that the plastic panel is screwed into under the steering wheel. All is well...and now for my next problem:
