Hallman Pro vs. Hallman Pro RX

Hallman Pro vs. Hallman Pro RX

I intend to stay pretty close to stock boost with tuning my VIII MR. Can anybody vouch for the accuracy and additional benefits of the Pro RX? Any input would be great. Thanks in advance!

A buddy of mine and I are both running the Hallman Pro. Boost is rock solid. According to the Hallman site, they recommend the RX for applications seeing less than 5 psi from wastegate pressure. It has a lightweight ceramic ball. but if you get a RX, it'll come with both *****..so it's switchable

I have found the Pro is much better for cars making relatively high boost like Evos

the RX is best suited for low boosting cars like n/a cars with an added turbo - like 3 - 8 psi

The Pro is a unit that works really good

A lot of times the RX doesn't have a stiff enough spring to effect the boost on evos

I thought the RX comes with everything a Pro has plus more, hence the increase in price?

I like the pro's for pump gas and pro rx's for higher boost cars, race gas, meth and e85.


The pro is more consistent under 27/28 pounds.

I was a customer then a vendor because they're so great.

haha, that is the opposite of what others think.

either one should be fine, i guess. the RX kit has all the Pro parts, you can switch out to meet your needs. i can't wait to install mine.
