How to tell if my engine is running too lean or too rich??

is he using up your bandwidth ? clogging up your server? is your day any worse than it would have been, had he not asked this Q here?
shoudlnt u be happy to help someone, like perhaps someone helped u when u just started out?
the guy has been a member for 1.5 years and has only 12 posts... i wonder why!?!?
make stupid comments rather than help him, and he is gonna end up another ex-Evo owner, happily driving his newly- acquired 328i

so well put s6devil too many bashers on here over an honest question. I really dont think they know the right answer.
To answer the question about rich vs lean the best way and cheapest is to pull a plug if it is carboned up u are rich if it has blisters or very white on the electrode u are lean.
