some advice on tuning

hey dudes, so after about a year and some fun with the evo i completly maxed out the stock turbo with full bolt ons and all, only thing im missing is meth and a nice set of cams.

the car put down 371 hp / 339 tourqe @ 25 psi on a dynojet.

car runs awsome and pulls crazy, ran it at the track best ET i had was 11.8, ill grab the slip i forget my exact mph and 60ft.

but when it was dynoed my samco BOV was leaking and i didnt have an exhaust manifold.

so now i threw on a ported megan manifold and a 50mm tial BOV with a turbo trix UICP so i have no error with boost leaks and rubber couplers sqeazzing shut

my qeustion is, what do you think it will put down now? i was hoping closer to 400 but thats pushing it i think without meth, what do you think

ill post pics of the car and what the engine bay looks like with the piping and such

throw some e85 and 1000cc injectors and crank the boost to 30psi and ull forsure see 400+

^^ yea i dont want to run the car on e85 thou, i wanna go the route of Fp red and aquamist hs-5 kit, and some 280 cams. just curious on what i would see without the e85 .....i was thinking about tuning it on race fuel maybe 110 what do you guys think of that?

man...i used to say the same thing about e85..... does it sound complicated??
well its not... u can run tons of timing and make more power than on race gas... all u need is
e-85 gas and bigger injectors and its cheaper than race gas...how much better can it get??
on my 8 turbo im trapping 116mph(stock 02 housing, stock manifold, stock ic)
imo aquamist is scary, what if ur pump fails?? bye bye engine... just my .02 cents

i see what your saying, lol aquamist has the fail safe, so if the pump fails you wont screw anything up, i havent looked into e85 to much lol. maybe i will, i was just curious on what ppl would think i would put down without a boost leak and a ported mani

yea look into it man..... big difference over race gas.... and if u dyno at the same dyno my guess is 385whp..on pump.. good luck

no corn juice offered here in jersey yet =( oh and if your lucky you might hit 380 without it being anymore aggressive of a tune, would have to be one hell of a boost leak to get more outta it

yea i see, i wanted to do injectors and a 255 pump but the IX's pump is fine and flows fine for me until i upgrade my turbo set-up. im just tuning it with the mani and w.o the boost leak and it feels stronger threw the power band now lol.

but we will see what is does when it gets tuned next week i was just curious, so im prolly looking around 385 unless i tune on 110

I saw losses with a megan mani. The ported stocker is the way to go.

If you were still getting up to 25psi even with the couplers leaking then getting rid of the boost leak probably wouldn't make much of a difference in your peak power. It will most likely make your spool up sooner though.
