Does disconnecting battery lose tune?
Does disconnecting the battery, or the battery dying, cause a tune to be lost?
Currently, I have the Cobb Access Port and need a new battery and I don't want to get stuck with the car married/unmarried to the car.
Also, what happens with a dyno tune when the battery is disconnected?
Just curious if the ECU has it saved always or is there a chance of losing that data. I would rather be safe than sorry.
Thanks in advance.

You dont lose the tune I had my battery out of he car for almost a year and when I put the car back together the ecu still had the tune on it. Dont know about the access port tho. Can you save it to your computer? You can think of it like the factory tune, when you disconnect the battery all your factory settings are still there.
