Whats your knock count at WOT up to red line.
Lately ive been getting a-lot more knock. Knock is usually below 5, but now i am noticing the count up at 16-18. AFR at wot float around 11.7-12.2 with 25-27psi.

 

Zero! I get no knocks on my car, she's in perfect condition!

 

Maybe i should pull some timing and add alittle fuel.

 

try with vp c109 race fuel....

 

very important to know at what rpm is knocking.....

 

yeah i went in and looked at my map. was running my race map. Everything is back to normal. 1 to 2 counts up at 5500 area. but its all good. just trying to keep it below 5-10

 

thats weird cause normally my power fc records 1 at idle and can run between 8 - 20 accordineg to the conditions and the fuel quality. That being said the head phones dont pick up know on my car till 38 counts. how much timing are you running at peak torque?

 

Is this question for me.. im running 10@4k rpm and i see 5-18 counts knock, my friends evo is running 8@4k rpm sees 1-10 counts.

 

keep in mind that this knock sensor is a mic that records engine noise, that is not necessary the pistons, check the graph to see if is just a peak.....if its knoking it should be more then a peak....

and the e85 might be the reason of 0 knock

 

I justed asked about the timing cause 0 knock never happens on any of the power fc cars i have tuned. nearly all idle at 1 count. i use the kmon knock monitor and every car has a different knock level before it becomes audable on the headphones, most evo's are around 35 - 40 from the cars I have tuned. My personal car runs no more than 10 - 20 counts and I am at 375 whp with 24 psi on a ix turbo

i think any thing below 60 on the comander is ok ...
also plz tell that my comander shows peak 80 knock when i hit the limiter or when i launch ,is it the faulse knock ?
without hitting limiter my knock doesnt pass 25 even though im on pump gas and 2 bar boost ..

 

power fc has fuel cut on rev limiter so it knocks when you hit rev limiter.
if you are making over 400-450hp there is a little chance that you may blow head gasket.
