I'm on a MAF, using 91 octane. Lighter flywheel. GSC S1 cams.
car idles fine with AC on.

Raising the idle will not help, at least in my experience it did not. as a test i bumped up RPM with AC on to 1500RPM and the car still stalled while coming to a stop.

I have the same cams as you but im using 93 octane. I just got tuned the other day and now i'm facing the same problem. I noticed it happens when im in a higher gear(4th/5th) step on the clutch and drop it in neutral. The idle falls hard and tries to pick it self up. On occassion the car stalls.

Did anyone try adjusting timing a little to see if that helps, just in the lowish rpm range?

Also, no vacuum leaks, good alternators, good battery, right? And no CEL's either, right?

I have same mods too, I was searching for something to help, I'm going to get retuned again soon, but mine will turn off when I'm coming to a stop if I decelerate quick. I've been heel toeing to keep revs up

Yes.
Last night I've bumped my timing 3 degrees on both hi and low octane maps in the following area:

0--------100
|
|
|
3000

Same result. Car stalled.

This morning i've done the following:
- decreased AFR to 14.4 in the same area as above
- bumped idle with AC on to 1100

On the drive to work i was trying to make the car stall. It did not. I will give it 2 days and report back.

And no, no CELs. Good alt, batt, vac.

Raise the ISCV A/C on steps in the 2 hottest cells by 10. Problem solved.

I did this, thank you. I will try and report back.

But, isn't that only in neutral? Since the table is called: Desired ISCV initial step position with AC on - Neutral.
What if I am slowing down and press the clutch in WHILE in gear? Does the car interpret that as neutral?

this used to happen to me really bad!! my tuner adjusted the idle and it's a little better but it still does it sometimes when I let off on the gas fast and push the clutch in. I read something somewhere about a mod in tephra that affects this...can that be true?
