Where to start on tuning if i cant make a full throttle run?

yup. and the car would barely run at all. misfire right off idle. put the BPR's back in so i can at least drive the ****in thing. with the BPRs it doesnt misfire until around 15 psi. i really dont understand wtf is going on. the only thing left i know to do is start changing hard parts until something works.

What are your plugs gapped at?
A lightly modded evo 9 basemap is what you need, then do some logging with a laptop and tactrix cable. Its very easy to figure out.
The stock tune is horrible, it knocks and has too much timing. boost will be higher in colder weather and stock tune won't allow for very large boost spikes before boost/fuel cut steps in. I would recommend looking into a wideband and start learning how to log and tune off a decent evo 9 basemap.
