Got my wideband completely hooked up, need help.

I installed 3 widebands this weekend including my car, and all the other car's (Rustangs) worked out just fine. I calberated mine twice and got the same results. I made a few vids i'll post in a min:

WOT: 11.5's
Idle:14.5's
Decelerating: 20's
Regular driving: 11's
All of a sudden after letting it idle for a few minutes the wideband would show 18 and the car will start idling under 500 and after a few seconds go back to normal. Mod's are in my sig! It's a innovate LC1 wideband, every once and a while it will go less than 9 and jump back to 14, none of the other cars did that. Please tell me if this sounds about right!

If it is showing 18 and idling down that much chances are it is going lean for some reason. I would think a boost leak test and maybe check the tune then go from there. Doubtful but possible you have a bad sensor.

Was it used wideband? Maybe it just needs recalibration or bad sensor.

Nope i bought it brand new. I believe it's a bad sensor too. I think it's under warranty though.

I havent see innovate products in person. But maybe you can try swap the sensor with other guy's for test? I could do that with my wideband that was on previous car.

I havent hear boost leak causing A/F go that crazy yet...

there's other issues. If your car was leaking enough boost that you could only make 11psi, it would be stumbling and running rich as hell.

I just bought a valve stem and PVC cap that had a 2.5" O.D., drilled a hold in the cap big enough to pull the stem through and just connected that to a silicone coupler.

Also, check to make sure you have a good ground for the gauge. A bad ground can cause strange readings as well.
