DSMlink works great on Evo 8s but has 2 minor drawbacks while it does have A TON OF ADVANTAGES.
You need to have an Eprom which might be an issue to locate sometimes. 4 wires to swap is easy, the rest is cake though and the added features are awesome. If I could I would be running it on my IX right now.
IX wont happen as is, you'd have to lose MIVEC, do an Evo 8 harness swap, etc. The reason Thomas hasnt done an EvoLink is the initial investment to return ratio doesnt seem to be there. It needs to have a minimum of 40 units off the get go sold and then unlike the DSMs it needs to be encrypted to where it cant just be downloaded from ECU to ECU.
