? about AL @ Dynoflash

I never used Al before but the previous owner had the car tuned, can anyone tell me if he locks his tunes? I have my Old Mellon tune im going to tweek and before i start buying tuning supplies Id like to know if its locked lol

Yes but you can unlock in about 3 seconds.

Use ECUunlocker

I bought my IX with a locked Dynoflash Al tune...first mod was to unlock it and reflash the car

Why thank you kind sir', I was pretty sure it was Al who locked his, its been about 4 years since I've had a Evo so just getting back into it all.

I had a mail-in flash from him back in '05 and after doing some tuning with EcuFlash recently, I know that it wasn't locked. Not sure if he did that in person or not though but what I am sure of is that the mail-in flash did absolutely nothing to make the car faster or run better other than having a 2-step rev limiter.

he blew up my brand new buschur motor, took all my nice new parts and replaced them for ****ty ones in terrible condition, and tried to make me pay him $3000 for rebuilding the motor he blew up. I dont recommend him. A year later im still knee deep fixing the mess this guy made.

You're not the only one, he screwed over Buschur when he sold him his brotastic, train wrecked, blue flame(r) Evo.

someone should create a thread for people whose motors he blew lol, it would be interesting how many people there really are since he always tried to keep the customers quite.

Great Idea! I think since you came up with it, you should create it. When I was a noob, I wanted to go to him because I didnt know better. But after reading some of the feedback on this site, I didn't go there and my car is safe. I think that would be a helpful thread.
