02 sensor question

Can I install a wide band in the spot where the OEM narrow band is? Will this make the evo blow a code? I'm sayin can the stock ecu use the wideband? Should I keep both?

Almost all widebands will output a simulated "narrowband" signal. This is a 0-1v signal and could be wired into your EMS to feedback a narrowband signal.

Some factory ECU's and wideband drivers don't work well together, I've never done this with an EVO. I've done it with some EFI cars and it has worked great. However, some late-model cars expect to see a certain amount of oscillation in the sensor and will throw a code if they don't see this.

Yes. Years ago I had an Electromotive EFI system that only had a narrow-band input and I used an AEM UEGO controller to provide wideband feedback. It worked great!

For the 30-230x controllers it is a white wire for Lambda1, green for Lambda2. I'm not really familiar with the gauge-style UEGO controllers, but I have to imagine they do this too.
