Need help for my JDM evo IV!

Need help for my JDM evo IV!

hey i just recently bought a beautiful white evo 4, ive done some of the basic mods like coil overs..exhaust, struts, fuel pump etc...and now im looking to do something with my ecu and i desperately need some help this is the first time im attempting this as all the other cars ive bought have already had some sort of ecu work done. if theres any one that can tell me the different options i have and a prices (lowest is best lol).

Have you looked at getting a tactrix cable and EVOscan? I'm pretty sure it covers JDM cars too...

It does logging but the standard EVO 4 ECU isn't able to be reflashed.

Options:

Baller status: Link G4 Xtreme ECU
Poor fulla status: Buy a secondhand newer evo ecu and use that

http://evoscan.com/vehicle-manuals - theres a document on this site called Evo4/5/6 conversion to Evo7/8 ECU Pinout Diagrams.zip

I'm not sure if you need to change pinouts to use an evo 5/6/6.5 ecu.

That will sort you out.

Hey mate the Evo 5/6 ecu is a straight plugin, I have several of the Evo 5 or 6 boards for sale and can ship to USA quickly (will put a ralliart rom on to get you started)

Evo V or VI ECU with Ceddy mods, don't forget to get the matching injectors

you can use evo5/6 ecu straight swap or evo7 and evo 8 (4 plug) ecu with a few wiring mods , use 560cc evo5 to 9 injectors .

what kind of power out put would i be looking at with the new ecu and change in mpg? and the new injectors are going to be absolutely necessary?
