WTF? LC1 issue

I installed my LC1 wideband today and followed the directions to a "T" but when the car is calibrating it only reads up to ~12 and stops which in the directions it says it should read to 20+. When I put everything back together and drive the car it runs from 7.4 (blinky) to 15.3. To be more specific... During regular driving the gauge reads 7.4-8.5 and when I shift/ let off the gas it immediately jumps to 15.3 and then drops again right away to 7.4-8.5. I have tried calibrating at least 5 times and I can't figure out WTF. I researched around and heard that sometimes it can be in a non gasoline mode or lambda reading or what have you. Any thoughts on these hypotheses?

Change the calibration to gasoline and it should help. Open up LM Programmer to reset it back to gasoline

Yeah it's probably set on methanol or "custom". Hook it up to a computer and change the settings in the program.

I have the same issues with my LC-1. Did a open air Cal, and set it to E85 in LM programmer. I couldn't even began to tell you what this thing is doing. I don't even know what my a/f are it jumps from 22 to 5. If I don't get it fix soon its going to Ebay for a AEM.
