ECU Pin swaps

I'm converting my GSR Lancer Electronics over to Evo VI spec (ECU, MAF, Injectors, Fuel pump). So I've been having a proper look and tabulating which pins I'll need to change on my GSR Plugs so they match up to the correct ones on the Evo VI ECU. I've ordered a 12 pin plug from Spoolinup for the couple of wires that will need to go to pins located on there (GSR harness only has three plugs, not four). The problems I've run into I've listed below.

-Evo Pinout just has two "Radiator fan" pins, no mention of High or Low
-Evo 3 harness only has two "diagnostics" pins, whereas the Evo VI ECU has "Diagnostics (1)", "Diagnositcs (7)", and "Diagnostics" So I'm not sure which ones I should be swapping to where..
-Evo 6 ECU has spots for pins that aren't on the GSR Harness from what I can tell, these are:
-"A/C Fan Lo Speed"
-"A/C Fan Hi Speed"
-"Fuel Pump (speed)
-"Alternator FR"
-"Lambda heater"

-Evo VI ECU has no matching pins for the following:
-"Alarm W/L"
-"Fan Relay"
-"Rear Screen On" <-Rear wiper? In which case Evo specific
-"Octane Adjust" <- Maybe Evo specific?
-"Exhaust Temp +"
-"Exhaust Temp -" <-GSR doesn't have any exhaust temp sensors, unless it's located in the O2 sensor..

And to clarify a few things, I have marked some with hastags, I'm fairly sure these are the correct swaps, but the names of the pins are different so I thought I'd check.
Anyone able to help out?

Basically any pins that don't match up you leave disconnected. The important pins are the fan controls, the fuel pump (not fuel pump speed) and the OBD/diagnostic pins and init pin if you plan to datalog and reflash.

The ones you have marked with the hashtags are correct.

You may find you have to leave the tach wire disconencted for the tach to work (sounds crazy but if the tach doesn't work properly disconnect the wire from the ecu)

I believe there is a full write-up on Evo 123.

Also, if you want proper Lambda control you will need a 4 wire 02 sensor and need to run wires for the 02 heater.

I need to figure out what arrangement those pins need to go in. Like the diagnostics ones, theyve got me stumped. And to be honest I have no idea what lambda control is, I have the current two wire sensor in the turbo outlet pipe. And I have a PLX Wideband that I'll be installing.

How can things work if I just leave them disconnected? Like the Tacho. And if I do that, then I wont be able to log because I'll have no idea what the RPM is

The tach will work with the wire disconnected, it gets the signal from the coil. You will still be able to log rpm.

Check the thread on evo 123. I think I made a thread on Lancer register about the conversion as well.

I'm scouring EvolutionOz, Evo123, and Geekmapped, as we speak
