Power breaking up after 5K RPM 2.3 FP Black

Hello EvoM,

My car is currently at the shop and a reputable tuner has been trying to tune it for about 2 months now. Over the year it has gone through quite the major build. He has stated that the car is only making 420/420 on a dynojet. He said that everything is smooth up until the car hits 5000 RPM. At that point he said the car starts running very rich. He has boost leak tested multiple times up to 30 PSI with no leaks.

Does anyone happen to have a suggestion? I feel like at this point we are kind of lost and he is a very reputable guy who has tuned many evos.


Mod List:

Buschur 2.3 RPM shortblock 10:1 compression (less than 100 miles since rebuild)
Buschur Stage III cylinder head with all options. (less than 100 miles since rebuild)
Kelford 272 cams
Journal Bearing FP Black (less than 100 miels since rebuild)
MAP Rev II intake manifold w/ EGR delete
Buschur ported 65mm OEM throttle body
ETS short route UICP
Buschur Race FMIC
Buschur LICP
Buschur o2 housing
Megan downpipe
Test pipe
Greddy CBE
Buschur dual 255 lph walbro fuel pump setup w/ hobbs switch
2150cc FIC fuel injectors
Exedy Triple HD clutch

Sick a democrat on it. I hear they dont like the rich.

But for real, anyone would only be guessing. Get a log and maybe we can help.

Your blowing out the spark when mine did this I bought the non cdi cop setup from spoolinup its been tested to like 700 or so. I have a dbb fp black btw.

I agree should switch to coil on pack setup
