Need help with 2.4l stroker

So i have a 2.4l from MAP but then since the bearings spun while tuning it i sent it out to get it rebuilt and it is currently being rebuilt now. Got manley pistons instead of the old weisco pistons but since the car is built for 600+hp im not so sure about the rods. I dont want to run too much hp on Manley H-Beam rods because they aren't rated for over 600. Should i just get it tuned for under 600hp? like 550 to 600 hp? Sorry if this sounds dumb, new to the evo community and new to driving itself. Thanks

I've always wondered why these parts are rated for horsepower and not torque? I'm researching a build and keep getting irritated by that. If anyone can add a comment on that to his 600 hp rated rod question I would appreciate it. It seems to me like a torque rating would be more appropriate.

Keep it under 500 torque and you should be good.

Rods are rated by torque, not horsepower. Push as much horsepower as you want, within reason.
