this car starts to spin first gear now from a roll! its pretty damn quick and i am very happy with it. I must thank junior from turbo trix for getting everything right in there. I must also thank nino for getting me all of my parts, as he hooked me up to the fullest. I must also thank jermaine from turboxs for hooking me up with the cat delete

on the same dyno my wrx with PE1820 put down 306whp so my car now frikin rips compared to before.

awesome numbers! UTEC is next on my list. I was going to get one last month but i had to get the VII taillights . I couldnt take the altezza look anymore. I see a purchase in the near future. Good thing I know there is a tuner close by to tune the UTEC.

 

yeah it was the first one he tuned for the evo. I just want people to see that this thing is for real, and its making great power. (actually more than an AEM EMS made with the same mods) but SHHHH dont tell anyone

 

I am glad to see it worked out for you. I need to call Junior to get some feedback on the UTEC in the morning.

Looks great Josh, bet it really moves are you using Utecs boost controler or a MBC/EBC.

utec comes with a bleed valve, thats what controls the boost along with the map, so i can tweak it depending on temperature etc. (i would love to invent an automatic adjuster based on elevation and temerature so you'd always have consistant boost) but unlike my wrx i feel safer riding out the gears and spraying the water through the IC.

 

I see your A/F is around 12-12.5. For me my A/F was 10.5-11 so I guess I got more of a conservative tune. Great numbers Josh!!! We gotta do some pulls to see whos is faster and TAPE IT!!!

time to pay off some bills. im just happy with how quick the car is...it went from quick to fast with just a tune.

 

Lets make a library for the maps! What octane is this on, boost level? It looks like the knock sensor got involved in the upper RPM range, might have to clean that portion of the curve up..?

 

That's not what it looks like when the UTEC knock control gets involved. The UTEC knock control is much more drastic.

That looks like a nice flat HP curve.

I'm glad it all worked out.Thats a sick gain from a few mods...Not many cars out tere that can pick up that much power from a exhaust and a Tune.

Graph looks a little funny but its alot better than it was. Evos tend to do this because of the 2 diffrent fuel and ignition maps. If the car feels like it has knocked or coming close it will switch to the other map to ensure teh car is running safe. Nates going to take care of that though. Utec rocks...
