*** UTEC Control Center - NEW UTEC GUI ***
UCC is a new free GUI for the UTEC. It has an integrated map editor, data logger and graph functions.
There are a bunch of new features and fixes I'm working on, but I thought I might as well release what I have now, since it's pretty usable in it's current state. I made some last-minute changes that haven't been thoroughly tested, but hopefully it's not too bad. It's not entirely stable under windows 95/98, but it shouldn't crash much if you don't taunt it.
It's only designed for the EVO UTEC. If someone sends me a shift-1 log from a WRX, I'll try to get it working. As far as I know, the map files are the same format so the map editor might work. Please report your results.
I have no Tuner, so if someone would let me know if the AFR logging works correctly I would appreciate it. There is no AFR shown in the graph yet, send me some sample logs that include AFR and I'll add it.
If you have any feature requests or bug reports, please post here or PM me.
You can download it from http://www.geocities.com/biggerboogieman/ucc (*cough* *turnonyourpopupblocker* *cough*)

Thanks for the WRX log. Does anyone know, if you use the Tuner with the WRX, does it append a new wideband O2 column to the end like it does for the EVO, or does it replace the AFR column with wideband data?

The AFR column in the WRX is replaced with the text WB or W/B (I don't remember) and the AFR is appended to a new column on the end of the line..
EVO basically just appends the text to the end of the line.. in XX.XX format, out of range values usually contain >25:1 Generally the text is 5 char long, and the out of range values contain a > or < symbol.. If the value contains a decimal point, its usually a useful value.
BTW, I wrote software (A digital dashboard/data logger) early on for the EVO UTEC.. Never released it because I didn't really want to be responsible for supporting software. However I went through all of the Data munging issues already.
Also, there's a weird anomoly in how the tuner appends the data to the UTEC's logs.. so if you find it can't digest it, try filtering the nulls before you munge the data since they end up padding the length and some programming languages end up seeing the null as a string terminator.

BTW it won't digest the log file this came from.. either it doesn't like the format or its choking on the first few lines (The header for shift-1 logging)
BTW, Don't rely on fixed formatting for the data.. Not every logger preserves the "spacing" and some strip the null values from the stream.. the best way is to get the correct length of the string after stripping nulls and spaces, and using the comma as a delimiter..

Found a bug.. Open loop boost will have a value from 0-100 (in percent) in closed loop, valid ranges are 0-500
I'd much rather help you out with your software than support my own..
My program has a digital dashboard though, which I like using.. it might be something you want to add since glancing at the graphs/numbers in real time is mighty hard to see.. My dash has a button on it, and its always connected and reading data, however it only saves the data when I click on the logger button.. it saves "time/date stamped" named files so no two files will ever overwrite older files, and I can click the button on and off to my hearts content.. I then have about 30 or so logs at the end of the day and can correlate the logs to the time on my Videotaped sessions..
Definitely get the wideband stuff working and I'll spend a bit more time tuning with it..

Can you tell me if you use UCC to capture data, is it working correctly with the AFR in there (I don't have a Tuner to test with)?

I can check it out tomorrow or sunday... The log was recorded with my Logger/Dashboard.. so it does strip out a few nulls, leading and trailing spaces, and isn't as finicky about the lengths of the fields.. I wrote my app in VB, created a function that you put the string in, and got a collection back.. The rest of the app always uses that.. so as long as the data is comma delimited, the data returned will always be in the column I'm expecting for the log file I chose, plus it will then disregard erroneous lines.
The routine was universal in nature, since I wrote it originally to parse HTTP Server logs..
I do know my app strips some spaces not deemed necessary, the leading spaces off the lines are a good example since the first column will always be delimited by a comma therefore I just grab the data to the first comma.
The difference is I can use this routine for any of the logs, it just happens that I use shift-1 most often..

I'm guessing you turned on closed loop boost mode, but left the max boost value at 100?
