that's because its jdm. the ashtray and cig lighter are on opposite sides in their cars. but we could still use it in our cars, just switch over the cig lighter assembly ~ no problem!

it may not be that easy.

the ashtray piece looks like it just goes over the stocker, and the stocker seems angeled a bit so i dunno how easy it'll be to just put it on the other side . . .

Cal?

ive taken out the shift console before. the lighter assembly fits snug into the console with 3 wires coming out the other side. i didnt do this, but im sure if you give the lighter assembly a pushing from behind, itll pop out the other side. then you could just stick it back into the new cf console, then reconnect the wires

Thank you all for showing great interests of this piece! I can tell you that altho these are not real CF..but the price isn't too bad and the quality is definitely top notch there! I will test fit this piece on my car tomorrow and give you guys some feedback.

I only have this piece on hand..so after I install it.. it will become used and up for sale again. I guess i will just sell it for cheap.. lol

Pix coming soon!

I will be taking orders after that!

Thanks guys!

Cal

I heard you have to shave this center consol piece to get it to fit. Will wait for your install news to see how it fits.

About that center piece... It doesn't look like it has the bottom holes for the defroster, A/C, and Recirc. buttons. It has two seperate holes near the radio opening. Anyone try this piece? I am extremely interested in these parts as I've searched everywhere for genuine Ralliart CF Dash pieces. Why can't Ralliart just make parts for the US market? I'm hoping that since the Evo IX comes stock with the CF interior trim (not those two items) that we'll be able to purchase it when it comes out.

Just to clarify.. the center din panel is not direct fit for our U.S spec evo.. I think its for the EVO 7s..

I will find out about this CF piece for evo 8 and 9 soon..
