To Everyone Who Has Purchased A JDM Evo 9 Rear Bumper....

You're not alone
Mike,
I just got my GruppeS JDM bumper last weekend and had a similar reaction to the Greyhound shipping experience. In my case they did call me to come by and pick up the package but when I saw the condition of the shipmment I nearly refused delivery. The "U" shaped bumper box was missing one "leg" so the bumper was completely exposed on one end. When I took hold of the box to carry it out of the building the installation hardware (i.e. the rivets) fell right out onto the floor and I nearly missed them.
I don't know what they did with the box during shipping - dragged it behind the bus perhaps? - but I would *never* consider using them again (not that I ever have). Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures as I soon discarded the now worthless box altogether. Fortunately the bumper wasn't visibly damaged.
Good luck resolving the issue. Let me know if you need me to weigh in on your side with my experience.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. But, hear is the crazy thing. I have a graphite grey Evo IX that I ordered that bumper for. So, as we all know I have to get it painted to match the car because it does not come in graphite grey. Well, my bumper arrived completly undamaged. Can you believe that!!! I have to have the f****** thing painted anyway and it shows up in perfect condition. Go figure...

MIke...this may not mean a thing to you......but I understand your luck. I got my IX bumper in perfect condition....but I had to have an exhuast shipped to me three times before I got one undented and unscathed. I just wanted to let you know....I have the same luck. If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any at all.
My prayers are with you.

I think EVO*GRL has a picture of the OEM box either on her comp, or on the first page of her monster thread.
That sucks man, but I agree with who said you should never have signed off/taken it into your possession. Now, I am afraid, you have no recourse.

ALL I know is the one time I every rode Greyhound.... My bag out of hundreds of bags was the only one to come up missing..... The NEVER paid my claim.... I just gave up. I'm glad that you aren't being submissive as I was long ago.... I've since never rode Greyhound and always say don't use them. I won't order stuff if I have to go through them. I would rather drive cross country....

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead to inform those who care that....
..... this situation has still NOT been resolved.
I am at my wits end about this situation, and doing everything in my power to refrain from worsening the situation by providing too many dirty details.
I don't even know why I'm posting this, as I know it does no good, but I'm pissed.

And they wonder why people send mail bombs?
You can only **** on so many people before one of them turns out to be a nutbag and burns down the building like that guy on Office Space with the red stapler.
