The part numbers are available through mitsu, I looked them up one day at work. I want to say the fronts were like about 500-600 and the backs were like 300-400. So....all in all he is pretty close. Maybe a little high, but pretty close.

I don’t mean hijack your thread, but I’m curious as to why these particular Bilstein shocks for the EVO are relatively much more costly than for other models. IIRC, when I upgraded to Bilstein shocks on my WS6, I paid about $360 for the entire set (2 front, 2 rear).
Is it because they are imported from Japan and / or sourced from Mitsubishi? I’m thinking that Bilstein will eventually manufacture replacement shocks for the US EVO and the cost will be closer to that of other models.
Further, do you have any information on the MR spring rates? Does the MR have different spring rates than the VIII (I’m asking this because I really don’t know)? If the MR does have different rates, wouldn’t the Bilstein dampers be valved specifically for those rates?

As to why buy these when you could buy coil overs?
I think spent some $ spanking the MR around the ring in germany and made valve/spring adjustments specificaly for this car. Add a little rally experience and a better basline knowledge of evo handling dynamics than anyone else and I'm inclined to believe they might just work.
Good luck getting your coil overs dialed in for street drivability and performance this tight.
For lowriders, track, auto X etc. coil overs are the way to go for stiff as hell, camber,height,whatever...
