Cool - It would be interesting to see the initial dyno (showing just addition of the cams) and then a dyno when the tune is complete.

The car feels fantastic ! It is like driving a new car with the way it pulls now . And this is untuned with the A/F dipping into the 10s according to the wideband . Now to tune it and see what it makes !

Another thing I am very happy about is the exhaust note ! It's a very nice deep sounding exhaust . We will get some videos tomorrow and post them up for sure !

Yeah after the cams were put in and we went for a ride, i must say.... untuned and just goin by the "butt dyno" the car is damn quick. I can't wait to see what it puts down tomorrow on the dyno tuned, but more importantly later.... how it performs at the track! haha

But all jokes aside, even being untuned i was very surprised how smooth and hard it pulled all the way to redline. The most amazing part though, was with the 280/272 setup the car idles like stock!

I also think it would have been a good idea to tune the car with the exhaust first, then see what the cams are capable of. Oh well.

LOL. Probably because your running too much timing. It's just his model of tuning instead of lowering the timing and running a higher A/F ratio.

Sorry for the off-topic but I would always rather be running leaner with less advance. The headgasket will go before you actually melt something.

One good thing about a rich tune is it will be safe . I've always liked my tunes pushing the limits per say . I had my 03 Cobra tuned to a 12.0 A/F with 23 degrees of total timing which was agressive but it made tons of power and I never had a problem . But with a forged bottom end you can get away with more . So I'm sure Greg will tune it to a mid 11A/F .

Yes it might have been a good thing but he didn't have time to do it because there was a dyno day they day he took the car to get a number with the exhaust added .
We will be doing a pull with just the cams and exhaust to see how much it picked up untuned . As long as a gain is seen that is the important thing .
