Considering our cams are ground on a CNC camgrinder and ever camshaft lobe is checked for accuracy with less than .001" of run out lobe to lobe i must say something else could be wrong.
any check engine lights?
what other mods are on the car?
Things to check:
Compression check
boost leak
leak down test
verify timing
Air fuel and timing

I check everything except the air fuel and timing, but nothing is wrong, no boost leak, whatsoever.
The only thing left is the tune.

The S2 work great on stock turbo. I have cam gears but have never played with them still straight up. Even the most Professional have a bad days.
A VIII with all the bolt ons and S2s should be at least 350whp.
Like others have said we should
-Check Cam timing
-Boost leak check
-Maybe yank the VC and make sure the cams and springs are in there.
Also maybe we should throw it on Drift Office dyno to just see what it is doing.
How high are you reving the car when you are racing your buddy?

The cams work just fine, are you reving the car out and giving it 100% throttle. and your injectors ARE 680's not 880's
