cool. one other thing, is the rebate applied instantly to the bottom line at time of purchase or is it an actual rebate check with additional paperwork having to be filled out and waiting in the mail for it?

Most of the time its an instant rebate. If their are any question to if you quailfy it will then become a mail in rebate.
