Anybody else having trouble getting their deposit back from southcoast?

I have had a deposit on an MR since like Feb. and have asked repeatedly to get the deposit back, have called and emailed and nothing, they say they will do it and then say they did it but nothing shows up on the CC. Its ridiculous, last 3 times I emailed I got nothing back from them. I didnt want to have to put a chargeback against them but its looking like a call to the dealer principal and a chargeback is the only thing they understand...weird!

They want you to go in person for the refund so they can try to put your butt in the car one last time. You are dealing with the sales dept., just use the chargeback to save yourself a bunch of time. Nobody at the dealer cares about it, obviously.

I have been having difficulty with the title (thanks to the CA DMV), but have found them to be very helpful in the matter. They have a section on here they usually frequent, and you can send them a PM if you want. I spoke with Alex and she has done very well to follow up on my issues to resolve them. Try asking for their finance department and you may have better luck.

Of course, that's without knowing the steps you have already taken, so I'm going on limited information.

Good luck.

SC Mitsu send the full amount check on my trade-in car to my loaner bank. For some odd reason, the bank didnt get any checks from them for a whole entire month. Which means i ended up paying a thousand for my missed payment on my old car. Made me look like a fool for doing this cause it feels like i paid a down payment on the new car. Right after i paid the thousand dollars, the check that was missing magically appeared. I don't know if the bank lost or SC Mitsu lost it.

Yes, I've left several voicemails and emails and I've gotten no response. It's been about 3 weeks so far

Call MMNA and file a complaint. I had a problem getting a payoff check from my local Mitsu dealer a year ago. All it took was one call to MMNA and within 2 hours the dealer called me and had my check ready.
