Just Announced There will not be 2009 Evo's !!!!!

I just heard that they will not be making the 2009 Evo X.

They plan to skip the year and come out with the 2010 Model. That car will start taking orders in july to be release sept or october.

We plan to purchase as many evo x from factory as possible. This will be a hard 12 months not having enough cars.

It doesn't surprise me. My local dealer only had 2 evo X's, a RR gsr that sold and a WW mr premium with the BBS that has sat there since june and was still there on tues.

but they showed the VIN numbers for the 09 in their website already?

Wow...

Thread is a little misleading. 09's were actually produced, just none are being shipped here is what I am gathering.

this is kinda a big deal, and its coming from a seemingly credible source, socalmitsu is a well know mitsu dealer on these forums

Sad to hear, doesn't surprise me tho... I believe Mitsu will eventually pull out of the US market? Sad, very sad!!!
