There are at least a dozen on each of the two lots I was watching here in Texas, Irving Mitsu and Pavillion Mitsu. I opted for an IX RS locally, but I know those X's are still just sitting there right now, so it makes sense they would not want to take on a bunch of 09's when they can't move the 08's.

they making 09 Evo X. I didn't heard of this news, But it is possible they will not bring to here.
The $ is so down , besides the point here is the cheapest all around the world.
The US never been a primary market for the Evo,so from they point of view , is really doesn't matter.
They might going to try to jack up the price in 2010 if they will return, if the news is right about the 09.
Who knows?

Yep, it's even on subaru's website in plain writing: 2009 STi. Looks to be unchanged, as well. In any case, the 09 Xs don't seem to have anything other than minor aesthetic changes, like a cover over the cupholder and grey tailights, so it's not like we're really missing anything by not getting it here if they don't ship to the US. Mitsu usually waits about 2-3 years to revamp the EVO in terms of performance, so 2010 should bring a XI and with it, some nice improvements. Maybe they will find a way to lighten the car a little bit and bump up power as well. We shall see...

The 2009 Mitsubishi Evo X is being built but not shipped here to the states. There were not enough orders from the dealers for Mitsubishi to bring in the cars. I am very upset about this, I sell a lot of evos from here and now I am going to be without cars. I ordered more from port and got in a shipment today of about 14 cars.
I just hope Mitsubishi does not take away our incentives like the special financing.

do you think the special financing incentives will last next year? I'm planning on getting one after tax returns come in.

It might work well in your favor, though, Sam. It means people will flock over to you to buy what is now a small number of Evo X's. If I didn't just buy my IX back in January, I would've surely come to you for a white one.

Your a perfect example, you would come by and buy white. I have been sold out of whites for months now. I cannot restock for customer demands. The volume of evo sales that we do here, it wont be long before I cannot sell any new evo x's
I will smash as long as I can.
