JNZ Tuning sponsored cars...EVO needed

So far we have 3 cars sponsored for the 2008 racing season...

Kyle Mavis- 1g road race Talon
Ron Korolak- 2g drag Talon
Jand recently annouced sponsorship of Jake Mongomery- 1g drag Talon

For the 2008 season, we're looking to add an Evo to the mix. Think you have something unique to offer us? We're looking for someone who has the ability to represent our company the way it should be during the course of the season. Each of our currently sponsored cars travels the country to different tracks repping the brand. If you think you have what it takes shoot me an email... chris@jnztuning.com.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the DSMs listed above, here's a little info on them...

Kyle has been around the DSM scene since the good ole days. He took on the massive task of transforming the uninspiring into the amazing. Kyle started with a 1992 Eagle Talon GS and transformed into this turbocharged road racing terror! Kyle took it upon himself to do a complete motor, drivetrain, and electrical swap out of a 1992 GST in order to achieve his goals and then documented it for others to use as an aid! It's definiltey nice to see a DSM doing something other than drag racing...this DSM finds it's home in the twisties! That's right, a competitive road racing DSM...talk about a breath of fresh air.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ron and his 2nd generation Talon find their home in the remote parts of Alberta, Canada. A dyno or track day is comprised of a 5 hour drive...EACH WAY! Talk about a commitment. Ron's Talon is impressive in the fact that it's a full weight, unstripped, creature comfort-full track terror. To date Ron's best ET is a 10.6@141 ...what's most impressive about that? It was done with a full weight car, with 18" street tires, with 5*C track temps....gotta love the fall weather in Alberta. This car has PLENTY left in it so we are definitely looking forward to seeing what it can do! Goals for '08 include a 9 second pass on street tires...then on to some slicks.

As most of you know, Jake pilots one of the quickest and fastest street-driven DSM's in the country. The 1992 Eagle Talon AWD TSI powered by the 2.0 liter Mitsubishi 4G63 makes an estimated 1000 horsepower with the help of nitrous oxide. Internal components consist of Ross pistons, R&R aluminum rods, FP cams, Kiggly springs and retainers, JM Fabrications intake manifold, Shearer Fabrications top mount exhaust manifold and a GT4202 turbocharger exiting through a cusotm 3.5" side exit exhaust. The controller in this configuration is an AEM EMS, which Jake and his crew chief Wayne Montgomery are able to monitor and download valueable tuning data netting a best E.T. to date of 9.11 @ 158MPH. All of this power gets transferred to the ground through a Shepherd Racing Stage-4 transmission, Shepherd Racing transfer case, DSS 3.5" drive shafts, DSS rear axles and a final drive of 4.929. Rota wheels wrapped in Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOT's help this DSM acheive 60-ft times in the mid 1.3's. [quoted from BOTI website]

Goals for the '08 season include 1100-1200whp as well as 8 second time slips. The entire JNZ staff is very excited to see what's to come of this car in the upcoming season!!

Zing!

I proved my driving skills while you were still making ramps out of plywood and cinder blocks for your Huffy.

BTW, congrats on the 9s in the Z.
