Basically the only things you'd be keeping would be the turbo and the intercooler.

a turbo is a turbo and an intercooler is an intercooler, that pretty much it...though the turbo maybe too big....for your internals, but i want to use thier sotck IC once i boost

The only benefit I can think of is you could probably get the parts cheap off the forums. Otherwise...seems like an awful lot of annoyance when there are plenty of other turbos to choose from that are as good or better.

Nah, just in general. I toyed with the idea too, but at the time my car was done the Evo still hadn't been released in the US. I may change to an Evo's for the larger core size when I get comfortable with making piping.

Boost is boost. If you run 5psi you'll get about the same as an RRM or TSI or custom kit.

I don't think the ports match up either. You're making the whole process more difficult than it has to be by trying to use Evolution parts on a Lancer.

yup, you're going to have to get a custom manifold setup for the twin scroll turbine inlet. other than spooling up quicker, i don't see why you shouldn't just use an evo3 big16g for similar power.

im with hobie on this one. if your going to do all this manifold action, get a tubular made, or log style or something that is going to give you better flow than stock evo and be made to actually fit your car. putting evo parts on your car isn't going to do the same things for you that having evo parts on an evo does.
