The highest we've ever seen the fuel pressure is around 120psi. Doesnt matter how big of a FMU you use and walbro pump. FMU's arent really the way to go on big boost.

You can't go past pump limitations... a good intank pump will do about 120psi. (example... walbro 255lph high output) I've seen other intanks rated lower put out as low as 70-80psi.

I've seen out of tank pumps creat up to 250-300psi though... but that was fueling a 1000+ hp application and the fuel regulator themselves never let it get that high... test was done on static system for leaks/strength.

All you have to do on the downpipe is cut it about 2 inch under the flange that connects onto the L pipe off the turbo and extend it about 2 or 3 more inchs. Get your exhaust shop to do this. Should be cheap and easy for them to do. Also, put a O2 bung under the flange for your up stream O2.

I have the TSI kit and intercooled it. Good kit just took a little moding.

Just ditch it and use the FMU for low boost. I run 5 to 7lbs depending on gas prices. LOL

Hook it up by taping it into the return fuel line on your fuel rail. T the vac line off the line going from the manifold to fuel pressure regulator on the rail. If you still have question on hooking it up go to vortech superhargers website and look at one of the install manuals.

Gentlemen, How about an update on the TSI turbo systems? It's two years later, are there any problems with reliabilty?

Is it true that no one can stay at the original 6 psi for very long, or have any of you left it alone and stayed dependable?

There are lots of other threads concerning the TSI kit that have been updated more recently than this thread.
