Call vortech and talk to those guys over there. We run alot of the Vortech FMU's on our mild superchargered trucks and had no failures. What kind of pump are you running with the setup?
O ya! This may solve the problem!!!!! You have way to many lines tapped off it. On the vaccum line that goes to the FMU "DO NOT HOOK UP ANY OTHER VAC LINES TO IT" . We have had a couple of cases were people hooked up a boost gauge or map sensor to the same vaccum line as the FMU and the FMU would not kick on at all or not very much. Run the FMU with its own line. Trust me on this and try it!

so RRM calls for vaccum lines: off the BOV, and intake manifold to the stock FPR. the boost controller is a closed circuit so it shouldt effect the pressure that much.
we have tested it just w/ BOV,Intake Mani, FMU running to the stock FPR and the same problem....i need to take apart the FMU to see if it broken.

Thanks for the advice Go.
I too had a leaking vortech FMU...
All you have to do is take off the hex screws remember where everything goes and tighten the inside hex screws. Tightening these screws will stop the fuel leak. It did for me.

ok....kool.....yeah ill probly be takin aprat the FMU tonight....does anyone know the specs on retighting the hex nuts on the outside.....i though i herd it only like 2lbs/ft....if someone can confirm or know the answer please tell.

ok well i took the FMU arpart nothing looked outta order...it looked perfect.....so then comes the harder question.....why the hell when i mash the gas or goto postive pressure i run super lean?

What fuel pump are you using???? Maybe its going bad? What FMU ratio?
What injectors are you using? Could they be Clogged? Maybe clean them
What is your fuel pressure at idle? Is it steady?

Walbro 255. 12:1 FMU ,stock injectors w/ 51000miles, fuel pressure at idle is lik24 or so....i took a video of the gauges in my car while driving...i need to edit and post them up. but im goin to check injectors....and i have another walbro 255 i can use.... but the thing w/ the injectors is the car idles fine....like 15AFR....and normal driving like 14-15AFR. but maybe when more fuel is pushed they get clogged....so im goin to take them out....hopefully this is nothing extreamyl serious.....cause my soulution to the FMU is im goin to buy a stand alone ecu and new injectors in 4months or so.
also drivng around if i go into boost and then left off in will go rich 11-12AFR but for like a sec.....when i get the video up u can see better.
