Turbo Timer - if ur knowlegable pls read me!!

ok i've been running a constant battle w/ this damn greddy turbo timer, if u dont know the story heres a quick summary...

bought a greddy TT from here, only got the head unit, didnt get n e power supplies..NOTHING!!

so i have a car show on saturday and I get paid thursday so im going to buy a brand new one...

this maybe a newbie question but I gotsta know...

CAN I HOOK THE TURBO TIMER UP WITHOUT USING A HARNESS...

SO CAN I GOTO A SHOP, PURCHASE ONE AND HOOK IT UP NO PROBLEM??

OR IS IT NECESSARY...i would really like to get this TT hooked up b4 the show cause
a) it looks good in the interior
b) i work at 9am and i get to work very close to when my shift starts and its sooo annoying that i have to sit there for like 3mins to let the turbo cool down and then leave

WHOEVER HELPS ME...BIG THANKS IN ADVANCE

There's a plug and play harness you can buy pretty cheap, but I don't know whether or not it's Evo-specific (I don't know how different the ECU's are from the Lancer). Anyway, here's a pretty good article about the install:

Also that link shows you a picture of all the wires and stuff that you should have. By the way, the harness is cheap, and it's worth it (if it will work). Plug-n-play is almost ALWAYS the best choice...

You can splice and solder wires to hook up your turbo timer. There are a few evo owners who have done that. The install should be the same if you ask them because we use the same harness for our car. Sorry I can't give you the instructions on which wires go where.
