Nitrous/Turbo Question
Should I put nitrous in before putting a turbo in or after the turbo is put in? I have a turbo, just can't find the people to install it. I am going to purchase nitrous anyways, so I was wondering what others opinions are. Feel free to comment.

i think you should put in the turbo first. but since you can't find anyone to install it right now, you can pick up the nos then get it all installed at once instead of going back and forth from the garage.

I currently have a nitrous setup on my car. it definetely scares people when they pull up next to you and you hit the purge valve(Shoowsh! Cue the big cloud). I would suggest using the nitrous setup to cool your intercooler. Probably make more safe power that way. I know NX and NOS have sprayer bars(and even a weird snake bar thing).

Yes, I am going to get a custom install done. I have the TSI Extreme Turbo kit. The only problem the first time we tried putting it in, the fuel management system hits the firewall, needs an extension downpipe for exhaust, and heat sensor pipe needs to be cut so turbo doesn't hit the pipe. That's the only problems we have found so far. When I get the install done, I will post pictures. Same for when I get my body kit put on.

I don't believe there are aftermarket rods, but there are pistons and rod bolts. If there are rods available, please fill us all in (BTW, I did a search). Use a 30-shot if you must. All of the people that have thrown rods have used various 50-shot setups that had a bad out come.

Sorry, looked on the web and RRM has some (should have known). Here's a link to the pistons and rods they have (good quality BTW)... http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/drivetrain.htm

yeah rrm makes pauter rods. and buschur is selling one last set of pistons for $199 to get rid of them. and also on your turbo kit, you might have a bit of a problem with the returnless fuel system on the 05. let me know how that goes.

woah woah woah. I constantly use a 75 shot, and then a 120 on the track. a 30 shot isnt going to get you anywhere, you end up wasting your money. with proper tuning(RIP first motor) you can safely run a 75 shot. Of course, with the 120 shot i get NO traction. I also use a SAFC-II. its setup so when im at WOT the settings change and more fuel goes in! horay fuel! Just my 2 cents.

I'd hurry up cause they say that you get a bigger discount if you want to purchase a lot of stuff to sell for more money.
