no wonder you guys need block heaters! Today it's about 29 F outside and I hate it. There's no way in hell I'd live in Canada. If I could convince the wife, I'd move down south. Winter sucks.

-35? Isn't that passed the point of coagulation? You should have a block heater if that is the case... In NY, I run cheap organic 5w30 in the winter and 10w30 in the summer. I am not a fan of synthetic in these engines, I do however use synthetic in my Audi (Amsoil). DO NOT request organic at your dealer, they may quickly void your warranty as you are taking the car out of factory spec.
Like many have said, sufficient warmup is good for all your moving parts.

I called RRM and asked, and they told me to use 10w/40... that is for our Michigan cold winters. In the summer, they tell me to use 20w/50. I just got my kit installed today and it runs freaking awesome.. hahahahah. If only you could have seen the expression on my face when I downshifted into 4th gear on the highway and hit boost... LOLOLOL omfg.

^--yea, it needs to be cleaned up a bit..

Yes, organic oil only is recommended by RRM with the use of their turbo kit.

20w50 in summer. Go to 10w40 if you like in winter. That should do the trick. I know we don't know **** about cold .... it is about 75 degrees right now as I write this.

It is not so much our kit that hates synthetic oil , it is Lancer Cheesy oil pump!
