I can now say I totally understand! At first I thought something was wrong! At WOT - that TIAL is freaking loud! I want a downpipe made that recircs it, so I can hear the spool/BOV as well.

lol, I was just thinking of something.. remember the woooo wooooo internet video? The one where they put the whistle on the exhaust? hahahaha.. well, put one of those on the wastegate and see what happens. The exhaust is coming out like 10x faster in a smaller tube. It would probably sound like a screaming monkey or something.

Atmosphere venting causes bad readings to the MAS. Evo can't do it either unless they are reading with a map sensor (AEM Stand alone ECU)

If you're only running 5 psi relocate the MAF to the charge pipe just before the throttle body. A couple of people have it there and don't have any issues overruning the MAF, it may throw a CEL though due to the positive pressure. As long as the MAF is the last thing on the charge pipe before the throttle body the bov venting to atmosphere wont be an issue. If you don't want to go that route get a really loud aftermarket BOV like a greddy Type RS or S and vent it back to an aluminum intake pipe (not rubber or anything) and you should be able to hear it. It wont be anywhere near as loud as VTA but you will hear it
