Getting ready for Turbo Install

Whats up guys. I'm getting ready to install my turbo kit within the month. Got a few quick questions for you guys. The kits an RRM Stage 1. It comes with a Vortech FMU. I'm planning on running WRX injectors and raising the boost to around 8 or 9 psi. I'm also going to be getting a tune done VIA ECUFlash. Will the Vortech unit be good to go for my plans or should I go with a fuel pressure regulator like the one RPW sells through Vision Imports? Also, I'm thinking about going with a bored fuel rail as well. Good idea or not neccesarily needed? Thanks for the input guys.

Vortech should be fine. An FMU is an FMU. As long as it's functioning, it'll raise the fuel pressure just the same.

I think the bored fuel rail is a great mod. Lots of people will post and call it a waste of money, but I felt a difference in my car when I had it. And it's pretty darn cheap, so it's really not a bad purchase.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what the difference would be between the Vortech and the RPW unit. Thats $270.00 I don't have to spend now, lol. That makes me happy.

Fuel rail is a nice mod, reduces some of the hesitation.
