lol yes he main way would be better tires. Also suspension helps. And depending on how well you launch it, you might be able to improve on that.

update:
got bord so i ordered a greddy turbo timer, and a catch can. installed the tt today.
catch can will be on tomorrow.
im thinkin about ordering some pistons! its been on my mind for a while now

haha, if i had the money id get both, but ill have the money at the end of the week to prolly only get one. looking to get the 8.8 or 9 to 1
i think its going to be a work in progress. once i get some extra money ill spend it on a certain part. untill i get all the parts. sorta how i did my turbo install, that seemed to work out good.

if you are gonna eventually get rods, you should hold off till you have the money for both, that way you can get them installed at the same time.

which company you getting the pistons from?

well i will have some cash now so now is the time to get part of it. im going to be re-doing a whole motor. so i need way more then rods and pistons, so im gunna stick with my plan.
im saving all the stuff up untill i get into my custom engines class. that way i can rebuild it all in that class for a grade. plus i will have everything i would need around me at that time.
you should know who im going through. haha

well im gunna go with the rods in the future. but i duno if they are bolt on items or if the block is going to be notched for them. because they are so big. any idea?

Pauter rods need to have the block notched at the bottom of the cylinder walls for clearance. Crower rods are drop in and go.

Crower carries alot of rods that they don't list on their site. They have the job card for the 4G94 rods.

Definately get some rods if you can. The stockers are so tiny and it would be a shame to install new pistons and have one of the rods break. Then you'd have to rebuild the whole motor again.

how much would rods be from crower? any cheaper than RRM?

i called on that today, the guy i talked to said that they can but you have to fill out some paperwork
around $140 per rod
