so i got everything installed but my bov and my downpipe. i have the evo downpipe all i have to do is cut, turn and weld. easy enough if i have time but i go abck to work tomorrow without my dd. haha o well, if your doing your own kit, make sure you have an extra vehicle.
people with custom 16g6 kit, get a dremel tool! IT SAVES LIVES!
and zip ties, haha
i took some pics but i have been super busy with it all and the deadline that i wasnt able to make. ill post pics asap. tomrrow after work she will be running strong!

the car is running now. i was able to drive it back to my campus, now im waiting on our welding class to finish up my downpipe and ill be able to throw on the d/p this evening in class.
i have one small leak on my coolent like at my turbo, but i found out that it was just the clamp. it was on to tight and cut through the hose. once i get those 2 things done ill be able to tune. im running very rich right now. 440cc injectors, fpr, and walbro 255.
question on the 255. should you be able to hear it all the time? im pretty sure its ok but i hear it all the time

haha, u know i do. come on, wut would a install be without pics. haha

make sure you have a dremel! i had to cut part of the turbo housing. haha sshhhh
i wouldnt fit becasue it would hit this coolent pipe.(pipe running in front of the motor from right to left) i wouldnt know what to do becides bend it, if i didnt weld onto the other flange

also look at the coolent line that runs to the top of the radiator. there is a little flange on there at the block. i had to dremel out my flange on the header to make it fit.

thats the first i've ever heard of anyone having to do that. It may be because of the way the manifold and flange is welded.

as far as the flange on the motor for the upper radiator hose. i can see that.
but not the other pipe. theres just no way. but all i did was dremel off a bolt whole here the stock evo feed line goes. i didnt need it, so off it went. it work out well.

also the far left bolt on the bottom (bolt from hell, from wut ive hurd). be careful if you weld on a flange. it gets tight back in there if you dont take off that bracket. i didnt have to though.

I know what you're talking about. Pretty much all of us have grinded off that bracket from the Evo's turbo housing. The reasoning behind it is that the water pipe on a 4G63 is on the back of the engine vs. on the front for us. An Evo's turbo sits almost flush against the block. That's why the backside of the turbo is kinda flat. Nice setup though!!
