I'd say wait on the JB weld. With it being tight and teflon, it should have no leaks. I'd say wait to see if it leaks first, cause once it's JB'd on there, you won't be able to get it off very easily

Oil return Horror: HELP!
Well guys, it has been a long weekend. I must say this install was not worth attempting myself. I have worked with my pops for 2 days and it had been one snag after another and two trips to home depot and a dozen to autozone.
I am almost all done. I strapped my baby up and cranked it to prime my line (my coilpacks were disconnected.) And then i did that about 7 times. No dice. So i took a peek at the floor and i noticed a puddle. (very small) So i check my feed line which i have coming of my sandwhich adapter.
The issue is, my feed line of course is the rrm braided steel and the end fitting gets twisted onto the male end of the fitting i have, but the end kinda can JIGGLE up, the line can be pulled in and out of the fitting about a 1/8 inch. This is where the oil comes out. And i think why the thing isn't priming....{
I dunno what to do... I think maybe i need to get a longer fitting in order to make sure he thing doesnt jiggle at the top.
Any help, though i am not sure what anyone could say would be nice. The car is ready to hit the streets and i am held up yet again....

If it jiggles, it might be the wrong size. It might not be priming because there's no vaccuum or something from that leak, not allowing the oil to travel up the line. Is it the fitting RRM gave you?

Oh, so the line can be pulled staight out of it's fitting...okay. Still I've never played with braided line and fittings yet, I'm not 100% sure if their is a special tool to use, but my bet is that there is and that you should invest in one.

OK lets see if i ca actually explain.
We have the fitting. (ie the brass peice i screw into my block)
Then the end of the hose, where the end peice meets the hose, there is a gap which even when it's screwed in, jiggles.

Oil return Horror: HELP!
I installed the turbo kit, took it around the block. (fast btw) and i saw the thing was smoking through my hood vents. I thought it was ok cuz i had recently coated my header and wrapped it and it smoked. The same was done to my up and downpipe. and so i figured it was burning the oil from my finges etc. I pulled in the driveway after some spirited driving, and the dammed thing was smoking... I looked and i saw a tiny fire flare up around the heades and wastegate. The question i have is, what caused this obviously? i checked my return line and it is not leaking... I did have a coolant spill in the area, could this cause it??/
