Water/Meth Kit

Has anybody even thought of that yet. It's pretty inexpensive and yields great results. Lowers egt temp. by alot.

I know that alot of dsm's are using it.

What do you think?

I was wondering why no base lancers use this either. Bump for explanation.

i'm pretty sure its only good on high boost applications. And saying as lancers can't really run high boost, it's fairly pointless

Pretty much. And the volatility level it has and the damage it can cause your engine is not good. I was just reading a thread about an Evo that was using meth and blew open his Magnus sheetmetal intake manifold from a bad mixture and backfire. Not my cup of tea.

you can run a 50/50mix water/meth it works great. get a boost switch so as soon as you hit 4psi it starts to spray.the meth will raise octane and the water will help cool the charge.u can use this and add a little timing or up the boost a psi or two

For the average person I think it's a waste of time and a potential problem (imagine what would happen if you forgot to fill up the tank). If you want to run higher boost and make the most power possible, it's something to look into.

its a waste if you cant increase timing or boost. At only 7-10psi on a t28-16g your not making any real heat and a decent ebay core will be able to cool that. So until you can run a decent amount of boost, its not worth it.

water/meth injection would be great for pretty much anyy turbocharged car. As said before, even lower temps, higher octane etc. will allow you to run a psi or 2 higher on our cars, with adding some timing and cooling the intake temp it would yield some good power.
